Medical & Clinical Compliance Advisor 

Location: Remote

Commitment: 2-3 hours a week 

Scope: Support the founding team in ensuring that Apo adheres to the highest standards of clinical compliance and regulatory requirements.

Support Areas: 

  • Provide C-suite & Founding Members advice on adherence to National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines in the development and implementation of Apo’s MSK treatments.

  • Coach the COO and later the Head of Compliance on the application and implications of NICE guidelines for Apo’s treatments.

  • Advise on a framework for assessing clinical risks associated with Apo’s treatments.

  • Guide the identification of potential clinical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Guide the analysis of clinical data to ensure it meets the required standards for evidence-based practice.

  • Ensure that all evidence gathering activities are thoroughly documented and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Advise on the design and planning of pre-clinical trials, ensuring they align with regulatory standards and best practices.

  • Provide expert advice on clinical regulatory requirements, including those from NICE, MHRA, and other relevant bodies.

  • Advise on strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of NICE guidelines and clinical regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in clinical research, evidence gathering, and pre-clinical trials.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.

  • Certifications in healthcare compliance, clinical research, risk management, or related fields

  • Knowledge of pre-clinical trial design and protocol development.

  • Strong regulatory and compliance advisory capabilities.
