Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 7 October 2025
At apo, we are committed to ensuring that our website and mobile app are accessible and usable by everyone. We believe that good design should be inclusive, and we continually strive to make myapocare.com and the apo app accessible to people of all abilities.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone.
Accessibility is central to our mission to improve musculoskeletal (MSK) health and wellbeing for all. We want everyone, regardless of technology, ability, or background, to be able to navigate, understand, and interact with our digital content easily.
What we’re doing
Designing and developing with accessibility in mind from the start.
Testing pages and features with assistive technologies such as screen readers and voice navigation.
Ensuring text alternatives for non-text content (e.g. alt text on images).
Maintaining sufficient colour contrast and scalable text.
Supporting navigation by keyboard and voice input.
Using clear, consistent language and structure across our content.
Providing captions and transcripts for key video and audio content.
Current level of compliance
Both myapocare.com and the apo app have been reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA.
We are partially compliant, meaning most content meets the standard but we are aware of a few areas needing improvement, such as:
Some dynamic elements in the app may not yet announce state changes clearly to screen readers.
Older videos may not yet include captions or audio descriptions.
We are actively working to resolve these issues as part of our continuous development roadmap.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review design updates and new features to ensure continued compliance.
We also collaborate with users and accessibility specialists to identify and address barriers quickly.
Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of apo, please help us continually improve by emailing: support@myapocare.com

Modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Mobile operating systems (iOS 15+, Android 12+)
